Hail to the Giants!

Rob and I made our waty to FedEx Field in the cold rain on Sunday to watch my beloved Giants take on the Washington Foreskins, ahem, I mean Redskins!  We had awesome seats, about 13 rows up from the field, on one of the end zones.  These were, by far, the best seats that I've had to a Giants game.  The last time I went, I won tickets from a radio show and ended up with Club Level seats.  Club seats are great, as far as perks, but these lower level section seats are more my style, even if I had to sit in the rain.  Since I didn't feel like paying up the wazoo for parking passes, we ended up parking the Escapé at a nearby Metro station (which is free on weekends) and cabbed it to the stadium.  Once we got there, we made our way to our awesome seats, and braved hours in the rain to watch my boys lay the smack down.  The Giants' offense and defense once again dominated over our opponents.  I was worried when the Giants were only leading 13-7 by half time, but my boys did not disappoint.  We managed to keep the Redskins scoreless in the second half, and came away with a 20-7 win!  I even got a picture with Chief Zee, the unofficial mascot for the Redskins.  Even hardcore Redskin Chief Zee loved this Giants fan!  Unfortunately, my camera died in the middle of the game, so I couldn't get the post-game pics.  When Robert and I were trying to find our way back to the car, we happened upon the Giants' team bus, and I got to see many of my boys up close, even of my favorite, Amani Toomer.  Again, I'm just sorry that my camera didn't work, so I had to try my luck with my camera phone, which sadly didn't do the job.  Regardless, I had an awesome time, of course!  Philly, here we come!
