My best friend Michelle and her dog, Blue, moved in to my house over the weekend. I, on the other hand, was helping Robert move into his new apartment, which happens to be the next building over. On Saturday, Rob's brother, Ryan, and sister in-law, Erin, came over to help the move. Ryan and Robert were troopers and moved all the heavy stuff all day in the rain. It was the first day in October to rain in the area. Erin and I "supervised and managed" and played with baby Grace. We chatted, which was really nice, and attempted to take in a Target shopping trip. Unfortunately, Grace wasn't too happy, the weather was crappy, and the rain just makes my back feel like it's on fire, so we headed back to the apartment. Ryan, Erin, and Grace headed back down to Reston in order to make it home in time for the PSU vs. OSU game. Robert and I finished up the packing and moving for the night and settled down to watch the game ourselves. I am learning more and more about college football, and with my obsession with the NFL, football now takes up all of my weekends. It is nice to see who the kids are that are making big names for themselves, and who may end up on which teams. It also gives me more perspective for the draft. Anyway, this was the first Penn State win at Ohio State since 1978, I believe, bringing Penn State's record up to 9-0 now. Go Penn State! I watched my boys play on Sunday of course, and I won't lie, I was nervous about the Giants playing the Steelers. However, after keeping me at the edge of my seat for most of the game, the Giants did manage to squeeze a big "W!" If not for the stupid loss in Cleveland, we too would be undefeated, but whatever! Next to come, the Dallas Cowgirls!
