Cicero's (Shirui's) Conspiracy

Because of all her intense ROTC training, Christine was quite the experienced swimmer. She was, of course, nothing compared to Captain Dale, but she was a very fast swimmer nonetheless. Within an hour, she was completely out of view of Joanna. She floated in the water for about ten more hours, with no idea where she was going. After she was so tired that she could hardly stay above the water. When it was beginning to get dark, Christine was losing hope. Despair ran cold through her veins like a chilling ice clenching penguins. Finally, along the horizon, just as the sun was setting, Christine saw an indistinct black form growing slowly larger. She swam fast toward it, and as it got very close, she realized that it was, in fact a ship. Although she should have been thinking about nothing but being rescued by this ship, she was thinking about how Joanna would be stranded in the water.

As the ship got close, it slowed down and pulled up beside Christine. She grabbed onto a life preserver and made her way onto the ship. She realized, after talking to the captain of the ship in Indian (ROTC skill), that this was an Indian merchant ship that had strayed slightly off its course. After using her ROTC persuasion skills, Christine convinced the captain, after some serious internal struggle, to go back and look for Joanna. Since Christine hadn’t swam too far off course, they found Joanna quite easily. Joanna and Christine went back to mainland India.

Since I have to account for a few months in which Joanna wasn’t on the island, I’m going to pretend like she traveled through time and then appeared on the island through the teleporter.

“AHHHHHHHH!” Stacey sort of freaked out when Joanna came blobbing (that’s right, blobbing) out of the teleporter only a day after Alannah. Alannah had been living with Shirui and Stacey in the dome, and was still learning everything she could about the island around her. Shirui was sort of freaked out, but, being a super-smart scientist, had known that this would happen moments before it did. Alannah had come to expect anything, so didn’t really care that Joanna was here now. “Where’s Dale?” asked Joanna.

“I don’t know where Dale is right now. I haven’t been in contact with him.” Shirui purposefully lied in front of Stacey so she wouldn’t know that he had been sneaking into the forest to meet Dale every week. “He must be back at the camp.” Just then, it occurred to Shirui’s brilliant mind that the other castaways didn’t know that Joanna and Alannah were on the island. It just then occurred to Shirui that Joanna and Alannah could be used as spies on the rest of the castaways. He sent them to their camp to meet the other castaways. Everyone wanted to know how Alannah and Joanna had gotten on the island, so they had to make up a pathetic lie very quickly. They told the castaways that a helicopter had dropped them on the island on a scientific investigation and then flown away.

Despite the fact that she was now living with the other castaways, Joanna couldn’t driver herself away from Dale long enough to return to meet Shirui and Stacey on the dome. Only Alannah made regular visits, making Shirui quite jealous of all the time Joanna was spending with Dale. Over the next week, Shirui had a revelation. He realized that Dale was leading on almost every girl on the island. For the last few weeks, Dale had even been forgetting to meet Shirui in the forest near the dome. Because of this, Shirui became suspicious of Dale and his connections to the love hexagon. Shirui started strengthening his relationships with Stacey and Alannah, and stopped going into the forest, hoping to meet Dale. After a few days, Shirui decided to break the secret that he was in hiding to the other castaways, at least those who were not in love with Dale. He sent word with Alannah to Kaitlin, Gabby, and Anthony about his secret fortress and that they should form an alliance now. He knew that if things came down to eating humans, Dale, Joanna, Sabel, and Sarah would all join sides because all of them liked Dale. After a few weeks of secret communication, Shirui was ready to put his secret plan into action…

***Don’t forget to comment about what Shirui’s crazy plan could lead to. On next Saturday’s island, prepare for the death of one of our most beloved castaways. Comment with how they should die and who it should (or shouldn’t be).
