So Valentine's Day was pretty much amazing. We both ended up spending about $10 on each other. We didn't set a limit or anything, we both just let our imaginations and small budgets run wild and it ended up that way. I think that's the best way, when things happen by accident. I took two packs of hot pink post it notes and wrote things that I like about him, inside jokes, and quotes from movies and songs that mean something to us. I had his roommate let me into the fraternity house so I could post them all over the wall along with pictures of us. On a couple of light pink ones, I put clues like "look in your desk drawer" or "on top of your refrigerator". I got him four little presents and put them around the room. A unicorn stuffed animal because that's the mascot of their fraternity and it had a note on it that said I would always respect how important his fraternity and his brothers are to him and if it's important to him then it's important to me. There was also bag of solo cups because we both say that we are each other's reason not to drink. We don't need to drink to be happy, we're always happy because we have each other. It's sappy and people usually gag but that's ok. And a bag of gummy bears because he loves gummy bears. Speaking of gummy bears, his gift to me was a bag full of just red gummy bears. If you guys remember sophomore year when I fell down those stairs at a track meet, I was in the hospital for like a week and all I wanted to eat was red gummy bears so my stepdad bought like 10 lbs of gummy bears picked out just the red ones for me to eat. I told Jordan that story in like November and he remembered a picked out a whole bag of just red gummy bears for me, along with a letter about how he wants to be the man for me that my dad was, my hero. I thought it was so adorable.
