I really hope that you keep on writing because I love your fics (that was the selfish part of that comment) but I can't say that I don't understand your feelings about all the crapastic comments and articles about Roger. I so try to avoid them at all costs these days, even if my curiosity sometimes gets the better of me. And you're right, writers do need to read some to fuel their inspiration.
We can only hope that this season gets better *fingers crossed* but in these tough times, it's true that it's really tempting to just let go because the last results are heart-shattering. But, most of all, it's all the reactions surrounding them that are hurting the most.
It's sad that nobody around you is interested in tennis - I understand your need to discuss tennis in forums then, even if I don't really like forums myself for the reasons you mentioned. It's true that there's apparently nothing between the gratuitous Roger bashing and the blind Roger worshipping, especially not in those times of hardships. *sigh*
Well, as I said, I do hope that you'll stay in this fandom nonetheless. *hippo-hugs*

Yep tough times *sigh* just hope he'll put this loss behind him asap and salvage the rest of the season, and I'm going to reevaluate how I follow the sport so I can appreciate and enjoy it the way I used to.
