Catch-up Post #6: Camping with Alex and Daryl
I managed to get a four-day weekend for Canada Day, and Alex and Daryl came over for part of that so we could go camping together. Although our original intention a year ago was to have another Qwanoes reunion, it didn't work out, so we just kept our trip fairly simple. It was especially simple for me, as we camped so close to home (Englishman River Falls Park).
It was a HOT weekend. We slept, ate, mini-golfed, sunbathed at Parksville Beach, and got only slightly crispy. I know I desperately needed the break, and I was thankful to share it with such great people.
