[ Isn't she a little ball of sunshine? She might have caught glimpses of him in the past, with her polite attitude towards the lady of the house but most likely thought of him as a haunting spirit or the like. ]

[And jerks awake at the voice, looking around a bit panicked before zeroing in on her.]
