oh what a fun day...
So i handled my difficult task of making delived eggs. In mid-route to the 'ville, i was assigned ANOTHER task of picking up milk. Geez who do these people think i am? How they thought i could handle all of these tasks, i don't know. Somehow i managed to remember all of them, and even got there in time to help out with last minute details. I should get some sort of award.
The boys were all hyped up on kiddie-crack so they were a fun time.
There was ten of us at dinner tonight. 8 of those people made sense. 2 people that were there, and that have been to Easter and Thanksgiving events for the past 2 years, did not make sense. It is my understanding that my sister-in-law's mother WAS married to this man Tom. She does NOT live with him, nor wears the wedding ring anymore. HOWEVER, his mother and his brother come to MY family events!!!??? I don't really understand. It's not like they chat with all of us and have a rockin' good time. They come, they eat, maybe speak a total of 10 minutes the whole time, and then leave. Maybe they just come for the food, hey i can't blame them for that. I just don't understand why they don't spend the holidays with THEIR family. Or at least, why Tom doesn't join his family. It's rather odd, that family. Tom's brother, not married, i think might still live with his mother. he kind of acts like it, and there is never any hint that he has a social life outside of hanging with "MOm." hmm... oh well. It was a nice mixed family event.
My adorable puppy is currently snoring on my bed. She is so CUTE!
oh yeah, some jackass apparently missed the big pole indicating where the fire hydrant is in front of my house and backed into it today. It was kinda funny!
