While I had been thinking about this idea over the weekend, I'm just now getting around to writing out my thoughts on it.
This is the lesson I'm trying to get into my head: our logic and reasoning is too limited and finite to comprehend God. Try as we might, there are just some things about God that we cannot understand at all. However, this is not to say that we can never understand anything, nor that we should stop trying to learn as much as we can. Rather, when we come across truths that just don't make sense, we should just accept it as best we can.
Who else can make one God = three?
This is a difficult thing to accept for those of us who rely on our powers of deductive reasoning. Even still, God's truth can come to us through other avenues than our own thought processes. We just have to be willing to listen.
