They like me! They really like me!
Things are looking really good in the job market today. Over the weekend I took some evaluation type test for a company. This company basically finds jobs for programmers, either contract or full-time. Today I was told that should be a good fit for Publishers' Printing in Shepherdsville. It turns out that they're looking for a Java desktop and web developer, and it looks like they'll be paying more than I expected to get just starting out. Happydance.
Interesting twist: a guy in my barbershop chorus in Etown told me that his son works at Publisher's Printing and had recommmended to me that I look into applying there. I didn't directly, but I think it's awesome how this happened.
