[Mod Post] 911 calls, 411, etc.
Welcome to Canada the Island Police Department.
Please read the post before making a new post.
Island_Police is NOT for roleplaying. It is for IPD related issues and to ensure that pups needing assistance get it in a timely fashion. It will also act as a place for pups to report various activities OOCly (such as acts of vandalism). The members of the IPD have not nor will they ever troll the_blank_slate or private journals looking for problematic situations. It is the responsibility of the mun to bring the situation to the attention of the IPD.
To report a situation, please follow the following directions:
Log in as the pup needing assistance or doing the reporting.
Post to island_police with the following information.
Please fill the form out completely:
Character Name:
Nature of situation:
If you have a post needing tagging by members of the IPD, please give the URL:
Additional pertinant information:
Make sure to tag your post with "911" or "411" depending on the situation.
Once the above is posted, please await a tag by a member of the IPD. Be aware that it may not be right away.
911 calls are any and all people seeking security for an immediate situation that either needs intervention or other assistance.
411 calls are anything that is not an emergency--people seeking to report situations, or seeking non-emergency assistance, etc.
One of the IPD officers on duty will then post a comment to the post specifying that they are taking care of the situtation, and will then tag the appropriate in-game thread if necessary.
IPD Officers:
Each of you should have your own tag. If you respond to a 911 call or 411 call, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ADD YOUR TAG TO THE ENTRY. Once the situation has been taken care of (either in-game or in theory), please tag the post again describing how the situation was taken care of. If you are unsure of how to take care of a situation, please feel free to email me, or contact me via AIM.
Voldemort, Jadis, and Marv will each have their own case files/threads to be backdated to include pertinent information.
