so long sweet summer
wow. tonight is the last real night of summer, last night to stay out late and have fun durring the week. as much as i am ready to go back to school, i wish summer could just continue. this had to have been one of the greatest summers of my life.
it started out with the family vacation. cayman islands, i was ready for the paradise i had remembered, however, things had changed. the island was completely destroyed by hurricane Ivan last year. the palm trees were wilted, the houses, desserted. my attitude changed once i looked at the beach, sure some trees were missing, but it was just as glamorous as i had remembered. the water crystal clear, and the skys blue with cotton like clouds.
then there were the great times with friends. starbucks. target. driving around. stalking, being stalked. scary stories. movie days and nights. shore trips. mini golfing. tubing. swimming in lagoons. sleepovers. not camping in the backyeard. drives to medford. random pool parties. wawa runs. getting lost. ice cream. pool toys. sun bathing. trashy teen novels. and more..
there was also something that took up alot of my time...work. everyone always hears me talk about work, so im not going to go into detail. lets just say, the people there are the best, and we have had some good times. the people are what keeps me at my job, becuase let me tell you, cleaning tables and bathrooms is not my dream job.
although summer was amazing and i ended it with memories that i will always remember, this year will be great. seniors 06!
