silent poetry...
under the covers
held so tight
figures swaying in my head
the perfect romance
"dancing is silent poerty"
like writing words with your feet
the rythem with your heart
it is a sound no one can comprehend
even with the keenest ears
it is inscrutable
the echo of the music reins in your mind
finding peace in the stings
the words seem to whisper
not yell
letting the repose set in
as your dreams fall like rain drops
upon your head
in a midnight sleep
as we move
our feet write our masterpiece
leaving our footprints where ever we go
even to the river
as it sweeps us away
in the embrace of a wave
taking us into a new realm of movement
so gently sliding into the next set of moves
the galaxy dancing at our feet
we sway with grace
one step
two step
then three step and four
you lead me
but i guide you
falling into a trance
your arms
like the river
hold me in a lovely embrace
taking my heart in both hands
and then sashaying once again to the river sound
like a Bach in the backround
it moves our souls
finding even the stars afoot
moving with ease
moving with grace
straight into the sunrise
where i wake
and our graceful endeavor
comes to an unfortunate end
but ill be waiting
until tonight
where i will meet you again
oh blissfull dream
leave me not unscathed by your grace
let me forever hold the scar of your dance
upon this heart you hold so tightly
let it render your touch
and leave me to a tranquill rest.
