I don't have the gift of prophecy like some of my brothers and sisters, but I can tell something isn't right here. This morning my shoes were upside down. That alone wouldn't be an issue, but there have been crows gathering above the cabin. I've never seen this many. Something is up and it's going to drive me crazy because I won't know what until

Crows are attracted to carrion. Maybe a squirrel tore through the cabin messing up everybody's footwear and then promptly keeled over and died.

Of they could be attracted to the strange new fungus growing here.

Hm, well, exciting fungi do have that attractive charm. If they bite they die though.

I wouldn't call this one very exciting. Not yet at least.

Mushrooms do tend to be non-motile until there's dead things around. We should get on that.
