Spring Break went like this. I'll skip the parts where I was just at the house in my underwear... you can pretty much picture that yourself. The drive was long and boring, but my parents and I did it in one day. Got back late. Was funny to see Rocky again, he just hasn't changed at all. Jaws got even bigger, got a carapace length of about 7 inches. The next day (or Sunday?) I met up with Nigel and Katy at the Bell Tower. All Nigel talked about was this girl he met. Was a good change of pace from talking constantly about Alison Roeder. Katy shows up late as usual. We walked around the shopping center a little, just talking as we walked. We ate at New York Pizza (or whatever its called) and somehow the two of them discovered I do a "good Undertaker impression" when I roll my eyes back and get all creepy. They found it very funny. I find their faces funny. The night ended with us heading to Cape Coral to shoot some pool. That was really fun. Katy thought she knew it all and was a pro, but she was not. Nigel was the best at first, but I soon improved. I think I did the best of all of us. Zach joined us later in the night. He got his lower lip pierced. Thought it would look stupid, but oddly enough it seemed to suit him. Well done old man. Tuesday was a fun and messed up day. This is the day that sticks in my mind the most. First, Katy and Brant come to my house. This time Nigel is late. (Its funny, I am NEVER late. Ever.) I entertain them by feeding the turtle a mullet (which he ate whole, the fish being about half the size he is) and also entertained them with my killing Cuban anoles with my blowgun. I thought I would have been really rusty and a horrible shot, but I actually hit with acceracy ever time, never missed one shot. Well, almost every shot. I can't lie. Nigel shows up and I have the idea to go to the trailer parks "mini" zoo (Andrea, you would like this). Its just cages with tropical birds and parrots, exotic and rare ducks and geese, a couple species of Lemur, and now a pair of Green Iguana. The guy that owns this has 10 times that in his back yard, but its private property. He has muntjac deer, various primates, and some crazy birds. I'd been trying to befriend this guy for years, but he's like 70 and that would be just creepy. Anyway, so my friends were not impressed with the collection of animals, which I sort of figured. Too bad, cuz I really didn't care, I just wanted to go again. After the zoo, we went to eat at the Lazy Flamingo. I got these coupons from mom for $40, so it was almost a free meal. I pulled an Adam and sent us to the wrong Lazy, I forgot these coupons were only for the one on Captiva. But we got there and ate. I had the wings. Ok... this is getting dumb, let me fast forward to the interesting parts. So... we eat, then we go to the beach. I'm wearing my gym shorts from high school, they were like homosexual purple shorty shorts. HOTT. I'm also wearing a t-shirt because the body wash that was suppose to fight against breakouts made me break out in hives then in acne. Yeah, I'm sewing the company, *cough not cough*. Don't worry ladies, I'm all healed up by now *wink*. Ok, got off topic again, I'm talking to Ashley K right now and she's distracting me with her cat calls. Umm... ok, so we're at the beach, in the water. The waves were outragous. "The sea was angry that day, my friends! Like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli." But we braved the water anyway. Well, we got tossed around alot. Now, when I say tossed around, I don't mean that playfully... we got tossed like ragdolls. Flipped in the air sort of shit. We were landing on our heads and asses, getting cut up bad. As a matter of fact, poor Katy got tossed so hard that she landed on her face and scrapped up her right side of her face, right next to the eye (not the eye itself), it looked pretty bad at the time. Wasn't bleeding much, was just really red and looked sore. But like the tough bitch she is, she braved the water many more times and got tossed again and again, but never on her face. I got cut up on my back pretty bad, about as bad as Katy's scrape. Nigel almost drowned, and when I say almost, I mean he just panicked and grabbed onto me and Katy saved us both... from like 5 foot of water. If he hadn't grabbed on to me, I would have been fine, you gotta remember I'm shorter then him. We ended our beach time with them picking on me and putting sand down my shorts and making me out to be a fool. Listen fuckers, I have not forgotten and when you least expect it, I will get revenge on ALL of you; Katy, Brant, and Nigel. Think I could use some bigger targets for blowgunning... run fuckers run, MUHAHAHA! Anyway, fast forward... we ended the day at the Great White Grill and called it a night. Went to the Bailey Tract (a Sanibel nature hike) in my spare time, and like aways, saw some great stuff. The first time I went it was bright and sunny, saw a couple of black racers. One racer I played with a bit, he was a smart fellow, especially for a snake. I tried to out smart it by standing still until he emerged enough so I could grab him. Was amazing to see its reactions to me. Didn't run away, just watched me and warned me... trying to creep past me, but when it figured I was too big to tangle with, he'd scramble before I could touch him. The next time I went to the tract, it was raining. Saw a bunch of stuff, including two Alligators! Haven't seen gators on the island in TWO years, ever since the Sanibel fuckers shot and killed the majority of them. Could mean the Sanibel gators are making a comeback. I also witnessed an osprey dive into the water and catch a massive catfish about 20 feet away from me. Was amazing. Never seen that up close before, scared me, was so close it splashed me. So cool. Oh shit, as I'm writing this I'm falling asleep... I'm so tired. So let me wrap it up. Friday I met up with Katy and Nigel, we ate at this greek restraunt. Never eaten greed before. We had the flaming cheese... and yes, it is cheese set on fire. Was pretty good. Katy's face looks fine to me, she had a bandage over her injury, but I don't think its bad at all. We went to Broadroom Aquatics (the place with the fish and coral for sale). Never seen Katy's eyes light up like that before, she really loves marine life especially coral reefs. This place has some amazing set ups with live rock and coral and some outstanding fish. I'm gonna have to start my own coral reef tank as soon as I'm able, just don't see how I couldn't. We then got stuck in traffic, went to Lakes Park, had Dairy Queen, and ended the night at Katy's house playing card games that I didn't understand nor took seriously. She has a black lab (the dog) that is HUGE, its like twice the size it should be and its only 2 years old. But a real sweet dog none the less. Katy's mom is really nice too. I did not want to leave Friday night, but I made myself. I said my good byes and gave my hugs. I wanted to hug Katy and did with no protest from her, she hates hugs. But Nigel insisted I give him a hug too. I wanted to shake hands. I'm sorry but, I don't give guy on guy hugs... I just don't do that. Those area's should not be touching on people of the same sex. Woke up early this morning, got caught up talking to Ed "the old man" and than made the 10 hour trip back here. I didn't want to say goodbye to my folks, but just gotta remember I only got about 5 weeks left then back home for summer. And so here I am. I am very tired. I got some stuff to do, but that will wait until tomorrow. Its 10 and my eyes are closing at this moment. Sorry this post so long, I miss everybody! Sucked I didn't see Molly or the Sanibel crew this trip, but summers only a month away. MISS YOU GUYS! And to all a good night.
