My sister is AMAZING!
I am so freaking proud of Amanda, I can't believe it. The only downside is that whenever I get this way, I can't think of how I could ever come close to living up to her. She's one of the most amazing people I know in the world. I swear she could be president one day if she wanted to. She'd probably be the smartest, best president ever.
She got the opportunity to work on the new agriculture bill... I remember her discussing this with me and my housemates in DC (oh how I miss DC...) and I thought it was cool and I was proud of her, but I didn't really know much about the bill. Well, she sent an email last night saying she was on the house floor Thursday night until 11:30 and included a video on youtube. She did not state whether the bill passed or not, but the video makes it seem like the democrats are booing while the guy says that the republicans won. But it's really republicans making all the noise. Check it out:
