Unexpectd
When in doubt....wait.
So far the week has been ok. I have alot to do but I am taking a positive outlook on things. I get to work my fun job today. I get to work at the store for 4 hours and then I will go home to eat pizza and watch a movie with the roomie. The internship is going really well. Some of those kids are going through alot, but surprisingly, there is optimism in alot of them. Seeing kids in this light makes you realise just how tough they can be, once they put their minds to it. They could have been neglected, sexually assaulted, or beaten up, but they keep on moving. I met a 17year old who had more motivation to take care of herself, her family, overload on high school & college level classes, and get a full ride to a prestigious school up state, than some 27 year olds I know. And this is a girl who is just burdened with soo much, but she finds a way to keep on going. I really look forward to continuing at the center. Hopefully I still want to do this type of work when I am done.
Well the celly is back on and I am still mad at Sprint...then again who isn't mad at Sprint.
