Yes, I wanted to deliver a baby. I just didn´t thought that I would be alone when it happened. I was not supposed to be alone, but it seems like I am a walking jinx, cause I keep attracting trouble like moths to a flame. There just had to be an inminent delivery when all the interns were presenting an exam and the doctors were performing a gemelar C-section leaving just poor, inexperienced, shaking-like-a-leaf little me to catch the baby.
Thank god an intern finished her exam quickly and came to my rescue when I was cutting the baby´s cord. At least I didn´t dropped the baby :S
So, Weadnesday was pretty much the most tiresome guard I have had till now. I only got like 40 minutes worth of sleep in the whole night and the next day I was a walking Zombie.
Besides, part of the main bridge over a really big river, a very important point of access to the city, collapsed due to the heavy rain. Many of the hospital´s personal lives on the other side of the bridge, so we were short of staff :S This has been an hectic week, and I have been meaning to post some images from a weekend I got pretty... enthusiastic with the dress up games.
This one in particular is from the same place as laura_josephsen wonderful character pics. When I saw that it had a 'tired' eye type, I just couldn´t resist :P
I just couldn´t resist to include the lab coat and the shiny scalpel!!!!
