Effort
Good heavens! That took all day! (I warn you, however, if you haven't been following it, it probably won't make any sense, and even if you have, I make no guarantees.)
Well, for what it's worth, I set a sizeable, free-form writing target today and I hit it. I just sat down and wrote. And I also set up an appointment to do paperwork and finalize my assistantship next week. Should be fun; it's like a bureaucratic date!
Now as far as the writing, let's see if I can apply the same discipline to my independent projects. I need to work on some things that stand alone, to prove to myself that I can do so as much as any other reason.
For tonight, I might be dragging my shaggy, unkempt self to the gym and the grocery store. Anything's possible.
