Long day yesterday. Drove from Vancouver to Calgary (10 plus hours). Musi had an aquaintance in Calgary so we got to stay at his place for the night free of charge. Nothing quite like being offered butter chicken at 1200 AM after driving all day. The drive was pretty scenic. We traveled through Rocky Mountain National Park and Banff. Thats where Bodes soon to be home is.

You're lucky you saw an elk on the side of the road if that had been in the road and you had hit it, you'd wish it were a daydream of me and my chicken at 12am. Or even worse a BigFoot...Those guys are what you really have to watch out for, I saw some of those when I live out in teh North woods of Oregon and Washington.
