Holy Crap!
I just remembered that I have a live journal, and when I logged in it said it's been 14 weeks since my last entry. Time really does fly!
Ok, updates: I've been back in school since January (currently working on my masters in social welfare), finishing summer semester next week... so far I have straight A's, and am remembering how much fun I had in school last time around. Yay!
I also have a new dog, a pit mix named Stitch who adores wrestling with my other dog Oliver and chasing my cats Mac and Nuala in the vain hope that they'll turn around and chase him back (names included for those trying to keep track at home). Yay!
A project RV has recently arrived in my life as well, and I'm having a blast making plans and renovating it! Hopefully I can test it out soon at my friend's cabin in the woods, and then it's off to Burning Man next month. Yay!
I just found out today that I won some money in a raffle! Granted it's exactly the amount I paid for raffle tickets in the first place but hey, winning money is fun. Yay!
The truck is no longer... I sold it and bought an SUV instead. Judge all you want, but a vehicle with a backseat and cargo space is exactly what the owner of two large dogs needs (especially when you add a sister and a best friend who don't have cars but like doing errands and seeing movies). Yay!
The only boo... my cat Nuala is still really sick. She's lost an incredible amount of weight and is nothing but skin and bones at this point. I'm going to bring her in to the vet tomorrow and see if there's any way to get some weight back on her frame: if there's nothing else anyone can do that I haven't tried over the last two years, I'm going to have to come home with an empty carrier. Here's hoping there is another way, please keep your fingers crossed.
