Remix is live! No prizes for guessing what I wrote, as obvious story is obvious, at least to me. (It was a pinch hit, so I didn't 'get' a remix, but someone did remix one of my stories for Remix Madness, which goes live tomorrow night. I also wrote four Madness fic(let)s. Three of them are for people on my flist, so if you guess the story I wrote for you, um. No prize either :-)
I have two tiny recs, both in fandoms I am ostentatiously not in:
Two Men in a Boat (to say nothing of the fog) (5858 words) by Anonymous
Fandom:
Sherlock Holmes (Downey films)Rating: Mature, Sherlock Holmes/John Watson
Summary: [mine]: Holmes and Watson go to sea and end up in a lifeboat.
Great character voices, sly humor, and the title is a work of art.
Contingencies (The Know Thyself Remix) (1084 words) by Anonymous
Fandom:
White CollarRating: General Audiences, Neal Caffrey, Mozzie gen
Summary: "Somehow, I don't see myself following through on a job if the streets are crawling with zombies."
I HEART MOZZIE. That is all.
In other news, I had an awesome weekend of mountain biking and running, I scored a Mary Renault novel at the library book sale, I am drinking wine, and my Sword at Sunset story is up to 2500 words. Go me!
