I'm actually not, as the Snowpocalypse/Blizzaster/whatever didn't really manifest here. We got a couple inches of snow and some cold temperatures, not bad. So I found this fascinating: The 40 most amazing pictures of the Blizzaster of 2011.
One more festivids rec: O Death | Book of Eli. Post-apocalyptic, bleak, elegant, powerful. The visuals and the really moving music go together beautifully. I dunno the source but, wow.
And I wrote another Porn Battle ficlet, although at 1800+ words this one is a bit oversize for a 'ficlet'. As many of you know I am reading Bujold's Vorkosigan Saga, and I was about 3/4 through A Civil Campaign when I saw this prompt and was inspired: Vor Needs Women, Vorkosigan Saga, By/Ivan, prompt "experiment". Spoilers for A Civil Campaign. Written entirely for the punchline at the end.
