:D I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've read the first few books. (So awesome! So awesome!) He's kind of a deadbeat and various nobles are always using him for their own ends.

I actually saw the story by splix at the Rugbytackle archive (which I hate; I have to unstyle the pages to read them, the searches don't work properly, and there is a lot of crap there) but I went searching her LJ to see if there was another link - and the story there has PICTURES.
