I fear that I am too distracted by looking through all the Yuletide requests to actually write any Stocking Stuffers Yuletide Treats. I keep thinking, "ooh! I hope someone writes that one!" and "yay! someone else wanted a story like this!" and "eee! maybe I'll do this for NYR!" I am also amused that I easily identified the requests belonging to lonelywalker,

I'm bouncing! I want to see the archives open now! Maybe they could treat the Yuletide archive like microwave popcorn: open it up as soon as the uploading slows to one or two every ten minutes.

Yeah, but if you take the lid off too soon, some of the stories might pop right then and hit you in the face!

Hee! You know, though, when I saw your request on the treats list I wished I had thought ahead and got the Falco books again from the library (which alas is closed today). I read a bunch of them because of your request two years ago, and I still think it would be fun to actually write something in that universe.

(and hey, if someone writes that or NX I shall gleefully read it!)

I came so close to writing a little last minute treat in the Falco universe - there was a prompt for Falco and Petro talking about wine, poetry and love I think it was. But it was way past midnight, and my brain was dying, so, sadly, still no Falco fics on the archive. I shall just have to request it again next year! Two NX though, both excellent.

I was the same way with the yuletide treats list -- I was so excited about looking at everything that I couldn't calm down enough to WRITE something. Oh well, there's always NYR!

Now I'm in the middle of "omg what if my stories suck?!" panic.
