Hee! That's awesome. I love your use of the star when cutting between shots.

It's the Lone Star State, of course! Thank you kindly.

And I got that. The star thing, I mean. I felt ever-so-clever about it, too. ;-)

I really liked the way you used the 'repeat' thing in sync with the music, especially the bit with Thatcher & Fraser when they find him tied up behind the desk. Really nice. And the spoken "Sing us another tune, sweeheart" (is that what he says - I can't hear too well, I get a bit muddled up at times) bit at the end, a quirky thing to end the vid on.

Well done!

Hee, yay you for not even being an American and getting it!

The repeat thing, amusingly enough, started out as a way to stretch that keys-under-hat clip - because it's such a funny clip and I wanted to use it for the whole musical phrase, but it's actually very short. So I did the repeat with the music, and slowed down the eyeroll, and then of course I had to do a repeat for the second "oh Lord, oh Lord," and it was serendipity to find that particular bit, because the way Fraser lifts his eyebrow just cracks me up every time.

I think he says "another one" but, close enough! Another bit of serendipity - I wanted to close with another Bubba Dean shot, and when I was sifting through the clips, the snippet of dialogue seemed just right.

Thanks so much - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Another one of those happy coincidences, I think. I was watching a documentary last night where they mentioned the lone star thing. Maybe I should stop saying these things, and let everyone think I know lots of stuff, instead of letting on that I haven't got a life and watch bizarre documentaries on Tuesday nights.

...then of course I had to do a repeat for the second "oh Lord, oh Lord," and it was serendipity to find that particular bit, because the way Fraser lifts his eyebrow just cracks me up every time.

What makes it really work for me is that he kind of vanishes and then reappears at her side, but her expression doesn't seem to change, like it's perfectly normal that something like that should happen. And yes, his face is a picture, lol!
