argh. and also, grrr.
My mail server has gone loopy (perhaps literally) and is re-delivering old messages from yesterday hundreds of times. I had over 250 garbage email messages last night when I returned from wrapping presents for charity, and nearly 400 this morning. I scanned them for anything new and deleted the bunch, but it's possible I missed something important. (It looks as though it's working now, but I am concerned that I deleted something important in all the dross.)
So, if you sent me email yesterday or today that I haven't replied to - I'm thinking particularly of the people whose holiday exchange stories I'm betaing, but this applies to everyone - please comment to this post. Also, I should be on AIM and Y!M most of the day, although I'm not always at my desk so don't expect immediate replies. ETA: the problem seems to have been solved. I may still have missed something important if you sent it yesterday.
Also, my adorable little Bluetooth mouse seems to have lost its scroll-wheel capacity. This makes me sad like you cannot believe.
