I wasn't going to post this yet... Really, I wasn't. I wanted to be further ahead before starting to post. But, I'm working on a very difficult and important chapter (chapter eight) and I think I need to remind myself that people beyond me and my incredibly patient betas/sounding-boards care about this story. *claps hands in excitement* Here we go on a real rollercoaster ride!!

You know, in some ways Lincoln's determination to keep Sara in the dark might come across a little as macho posturing - but then you counter that with his patriarchal need to protect family and wasn't that at the core of the show?!! I do love his determination to rescue Michael and his wonder in the fact that Michael's alive!

And I think Sara did more than enough to convince Jane that she's a good asset in this daring venture proving conclusively that Lincoln was totally wrong!

...Lincoln flinch, suddenly panicked and desperate to see his brother’s face again.

Such an insightful observation on your part!

It was good to read it again in it's finished form and I shall look forward to Chapter Two next week!

I'm amazed that you took the time to reread AND re-comment since I posted. But, YAY THANK YOU! You're one of the best cheerleaders ever!

Yes, this show was totally about family and the bad things good people will do for their loved ones. It's such a delicate balance and I LOVE THAT. Obviously.

Cheerleading doesn't end with sending emails back! And a refresher doesn't hurt either. :)

I think Michael pushed the envelope of bad things but never, ever for his own gain and yes, it really is a delicate balance.

It's amazing that you mentioned this because I was thinking about that right before you posted it. That's actually going to be a kinda important point later, I think... in the next story in the series.

YOOOOWZZAAAAH! Counting down the days we'd have to endure until Wednesday. It kinda freaks me out how Sarah seems so calm and collected!

Thank you!!! Every chapter will switch perspective and the next one is Sara's, so you'll get to see some of her thoughts. She's a bit less calm internally than she might seem ;-)

It might be a ways off until Wednesday, but I can promise you that chapter two is LONG. Very long. Probably-have-to-cut-it-in-half-to-post-it-on-LJ long. So, there's that to look forward to!

I have to ask... why Fridays? I've found in the past that most people read fic while at work and things posted over the weekend get lost in the shuffle by Monday. That's why I picked a day mid-week.

I'm glad you liked it! The ending of the series sat so wrongly with me that I just HAD to write something to fix it for my own sanity and I'm thrilled that other people seem to be enjoying it too. Thank you again so very much for reading and commenting. There are so few of us left that are active in this fandom. Reviews are always adored, but doubly so when it's a fandom as small as this one. Thank you for your encouragement!

Coz tomorrow's Friday and we don't have to wait that long until Wednesday next week. After this week ends, you can switch it back to Wednesday as planned :) I guess I'm just getting really impatient coz you know... your story is just to die for! Keep up the good work. There are still PB fans lingering around.

LOL! Ah... I see! Well... sorry but the biggest reason for spacing the chapters out is to give myself the time to complete the story while still posting chapters regularly. No hiatus! At least not during this story. There likely will be one before the next one in the series...

I'm so freakin' glad you like the story though! I know there's still some PB fans lingering around but... I just discovered the show this year and I'm afraid I missed the vast majority of the fandom. Obviously, the fans who are still around are the best ones right? Gotta be the ones that love it the most. ;-)
