my better half
In a few days it will be a year for my beloved and I. Interestingly enough...we've never had a fight. Not even angry bickering's. Yes I know..."give it time"- right? We've got something a bit unusual. We dated for about two and a half weeks 3 years ago. Didn't work out. Then we didn't talk for about 5 to 6 months. We started talking again over something unfortunate. While dating other people we became friends again. Hung out, watched movies, and laughed a lot over the next year. Now it's been a year since we decided to make it "official" between us and we're in the process of buying a house. One of the key issues, I think, that helped us- we were able to be friends first. When you can be your usual dorky self and don't have to worry about what the other person may think- you're a lot more comfortable. My sister says we have our own language. We do have a lot in common, but not too much. We have shared interests, but not everything. A bit crazy but who isn't now a days. We balance one another out. The one thing we're dieing to do.....ride the Raiders of the Lost Arc ride at Disneyland! "Hell yes!!"
