She doesn't know who he is, but she's wrapping her arms around his neck. She doesn't know who he is, but she's kissing him like he's everything she's ever wanted. This man, this tall, blonde man, whoever he is, is making her smile like she is happier than she has been in a very long time.
She watches them - herself and him - as he lifts her onto the counter and keeps kissing her, slow, deep, like they have all the time in the world.
She jerks awake and so does Jack.
"What's wrong?" he asks in the dark.
"Nothing," she answers, pulling her pillow under her head. "Nothing."
