Oh man. Not gonna lie, I got choked up reading this. The "dude" and Ben hiding his tears are nice touches. Great job and thanks for sharing it! :)

Beautiful! This was exactly what I wanted for Hurley, when I thought of him being on the island for an indefiniable time with only Ben to keep him company I thought 'I hope Libby's ghost comes to visit him' and having her as his shepherd into the next world was wonderful

I like the idea that after a while he grew out of calling people 'dude', good character development :)

Thank you. I could see Hurley growing out of calling people that as he aged, but at the end of his life feeling comfortable enough to pick it back up for a little while.
