Yay for any pairing that has Boone in! ;) They'd be kind of really cute together anyway and I really liked this. This was a lovely piece and I really liked how you connected them with their need of feeling good/useful. Not saying that people died but that they didn't make it is a very Boone thing to say (as bringing her wallets/helping her with them/whatever is a thing he would have surely done). And he would so thank her for letting him help ;) and go Claire on thinking that he's cute before she even knows why he's there. Point taken ;) I so really liked this!

Thank you! :) I'm glad you liked this, because I have never written Boone before. He's one of about four or five characters that I, for whatever reason, have never tried. So, that his parts of this felt true to his character is wonderfully reassuring to hear. I really wanted this to be a shippy piece, but it just wouldn't be. I'm glad you liked what I did manage to come up with. Thanks again.

He doesn’t say ‘died’. She notices that. They’re surrounded by it, but he doesn’t call attention to it by name. She likes that.

I thought this was a really clever blending of canon and character and it really made this work. It was really sweet...and maybe a little sad when you remember that neither of them "made it". Good job!

Awww, I love the whole idea of this pairing. I think you wriote Claire very well in this! And that line about Boone wanting to be useful is almost saddening, because thats all he ever wanted to do *feels sad*
