I loved the J/S interaction (of course!) but also the meeting, you sketched each character very well.
I particularly loved Sayid being so practical and smart, and putting his skills at use.
And, next time, 'team sexy to the rescue'! yay!

Anyway I loved this! The J/S interaction was great and your general characterization is just on the spot, while everything that happens here just looks very plausible in that kind of situation. Now I wanna know what happens next though ;)

This continues to be a fascinating yarn and I especially like the way you've fit all the characters into this strange, post-apocalyptic world. As I said before, making Sawyer the leader makes me happy and especially getting to see him exercise that leadership and see how he keeps control of the situation and all those strong personalities.
I was a bit confused about Jack and Sawyer and what they'd done since they slept together - of course, my mind always zips ahead, but then it seems they have only kissed, so I had to dial it back a few notches. I really love the last lines of this, they're quite perfect really.
I'm finding Kate interesting, since I usually don't really understand her. Your characterization is bringing her to life. And Sayid is so capable and... Sayid-like, you know how I love that!
Looking forward to seeing how the rescue pans out!

I really enjoy putting Sawyer in a leadership position and seeing how he reacts to everyone. He's still Sawyer, but there's a certain diplomacy to him. And everyone sort of respects him enough not to go to overboard with their opinions (even, to an admittedly lesser extent, Ana). I think he has a good head on his shoulders and that he can see quite a few steps down the road. I'm pleased that you're pleased with that. :)

Who isn't? ;)
I'm glad you're interested in Claire too, because, as much as this is a Jack/Sawyer story, it's a really-plot heavy one. So, sometimes the relationship is on center-stage and sometimes it has to take a back-seat. I'm glad to know you're with the story either way.
