Yay, more of this series!

I love it that you out Sawyer in charge of his section of people here. It's so him refusing to go out of his way to stop people from doing something - he doesn't care, but deep down I feel that he wants people to be responsible and accountable for their actions, which isn't a bad idea, actually, considering we're dealing with adults here. I wish that we'd got to see more of him being the really reluctant leader on the show.

I'm intrigued by the world-building here. What happened that Jack's people think there's a plague above ground? Who are the ones attacking Sawyer's people?

Can't wait for part three.

I wish that we'd got to see more of him being the really reluctant leader on the show.I think that Sawyer was more than willing to help Michael, until he took off on his own to get Walt. At that point, it became Michael looking out for Michael and Sawyer looking out for Sawyer (and, also, the people he felt responsible to keep safe). Sawyer does believe that people need to responsible for themselves at a certain point, and if Michael didn't want his help, he didn't get it. Which, yes, when you're dealing with adults is reasonable. I understand why the others think that they should go after Michael, but, in a dangerous situation like this, Sawyer's way of thinking is probably the safer, more level- ( ... )

Interesting. I have sort of a kink for Sawyer in charge, and he seemed perfectly in character here--grousing and being damn realistic and pragmatic. And also not particualrly good at reassuring anyone. It's funny to see him fighting with Ana, because his leadership style seems a lot like hers--survival first, screw anyone who gets annoyed at that, because that's life.

I'm curious to see how it's all going to come together, but so far I love the strange new world you've built and how you've placed all the people in it--the hatch people vs. the hotel people, and the Others still lurking out there. I especially like how Jack becomes Henry Gale in this universe. It's also comforrting to know Michael and WALT! are just as annoying here as they were in our universe. ;)

When I was trying to figure out who should be in charge of the people at the hotel, it really came down to Sawyer and Ana. I think that Sawyer won because, even in this universe, I can't see anyone respecting Ana enough to listen to her. She has another motivation in going after Michael, let's just say that, and Sawyer knows that. There's more of the dynamic between Sawyer and Ana to come, trust me. :)

I'm glad you're enjoying this, hun! It's been fun to write, so far, so we'll see where this journey takes us. ♥
