Drabble: Regrets (Charlie, Sun)
Title: Regrets

Author's Note: Boredom makes me drabble. :)
She has many regrets in her life. She regrets submitting to her father’s control for so long. She regrets betraying her husband. She regrets nearly every lie she has ever told Jin - even though she truly believes that she has only ever lied to protect him, and knows that she would do it again.
Her regrets range from ever-present and haunting to a faint irritation in the back of her mind. But her newest regret aches like nothing she would have expected. Like a scrape, a cut. Unexpectedly painful.
Claire falls into her arms sobbing, tells her that Charlie is gone, and she actually feels her stomach clench. Her eyes clothes and she swears silently. Charlie is her regret.
She regrets that she never forgave him. She regrets that he never asked.
