First you get big props for using the Kate Bush song This Woman's Work lyric as a title.

Sun is worried about Jack--I can so see that even in canon.

But you killed me with "Sun" being his first word--that breaks the heart and at the same time, it's just so SO good.

The best part though is that Jack feels that he can say anything to her, that he can open up, that he can just let loose and let everything out..with Sun and only Sun...

I adore that song. I listened to it on repeat while I was writing this, so I could not.

Thank you so much hun. :D I'm so glad you liked it. ♥

wow - just wow. I never read a Jack/Sun fic before - this was just beautiful :) love it how he tells her everything at the end, and she falls asleep to his voice

There aren't many Jack/Sun stories out there, that's for sure. I've only written two, and I haven't seen many more, but I was interested in the pairing, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Thank you for reading, and for your wonderful feedback. :)

I absolutely love this. It's perfect, every bit of it. Simply beautiful. I love the atmosphere, this kind of slow, quiet build-up, the way the story weaves itself, it just works so well. And I love the timing of it. Boone's death works as the perfect catalyst for the two of them coming together, and it reminds me of why I've always kind of wanted to write these two ( ... )

Wow. I'm always overwhelmed and moved by your feedback. It makes me so happy that you have so much to say about my stories, and that you always manage to highlight everything I hoped would come across.

Jack and Sun went through something with Boone that no one could understand but them because they were both there. I never really thought about what it would mean for them until I wanted to do a Jack/Sun piece, and I came up with this.

I'm glad it felt so real to you, especially the part about all of the things Jack confides in Sun because I was concerned about that. I'm glad you believed it within the context of the story.

Thank you so much for reading sweetie, and for your awesome feedback. It means the world to me. ♥

The solitude she had once craved has turned on her, stifling her, making her long for a presence at her side.

I love that line so much. It's a feeling I know all too well.

There are no words for how much I love this fic. It's just so beautiful and real. You really did an amazing job. After "Do No Harm" is the perfect place to start a relationship with these two. You've made me want to continue working on my Jack/Sun piece I started for you oh so long ago! Thank you for the inspiration.

This piece was beyond fantastic. :) *hugs*

Thank you sweetheart. :) That's so lovely of you to say. I've wanted to write another Jack/Sun piece (I've only done one before this) for a little while now, and that got me thinking about 'Do No Harm', about this connection that Sun and Jack must have forged just because they went through that together.

I hope you do pick that story up again sometime, because I just adored it.

Thanks for reading, and for your wonderful feedback. It means so much to me. ♥

I like the back and forth of the narration here, but I especially like the last section. For a story that's about talking--or the lack of it--it's significant that the thing that seems to bring them together and make them somehow a little more whole than before isn't talking but holding each other. It makes it feel like it was right that he wasn't speaking, somehow. But it's also clear it's a good thing he's able to find his voice again. I can't tell you how much I like that ending image, of him talking and talking to her in the tent. It hits upon those things that Jack/Sun shippers love most about the pairing--the way they understand each other so effortlessly.

Lovely work.

Thank you so much. :) I'm glad you liked it. I'm never sure about pairings like this, if the concept is too out there to be believable, so it's always gratifying to receive such lovely, detailed feedback.

Thank you for reading. ♥
