I called Nana to see if I could go out to Ohatchee Friday, and Dad answered. We talked for a few minutes, and I found out that: 1.) he has a girlfriend he really cares for now. He said he finally got over the heartbreak of my mom (come on! it's been over 10 years since they were together!) 2.) he hired a maid/cleaning service type thing to clean his house. He said he did it for me and for Delores (sp?).
The one thing I didn't find out is whether or not he's still smoking weed. That's what I'd really like to know. I can get over a messy house and a single dad, as long as he's not smoking weed. But oh well. He's trying at least.
So yeah. Parently Delores has a daughter, Corbet, and she's 11 years old. Dad hasn't met her yet, and obviously neither have I.
But I'm going out there Friday. Dad said if all else fails he'll come pick me up. I'm hoping all else doesn't fail.
Hm, this makes me wonder, does he bathe on a regular basis now???
