Today's post comes to you a bit earlier than usual! Recall a few weeks ago when
I experimented with some baking when I ended up with an unused box of cookie-brownie mix, with relative success. I mean, it was a fun and tasty adventure; I wasn't planning that I'd do it again, except, as strongly indicated by the title of this post, I seem to totally be doing it again. It was some combination of my intrinsic drive for brownies and my mom's realization that, hey, having a daughter who bakes stuff while she spends all day by herself generally doing nothing is a pretty good idea! So she picked out some new brownie mix, and I picked today to carry out my delicious plans!
Here's what we'll be making:
Let's take a look at the instructions...
We'll need 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, and an egg. And there's different preheat temperatures based on what kind of pan we have...
Looks shiny enough, so that's 350 degrees.
So let's start mixing! Adding the water to the bowl...
Vegetable oil I somehow knew was up here, above the microwave in a cabinet that no one ever opens...
And we got that measured out!
Looks like there's only three eggs left, but all I need is one.
And we got everything! Time to start mixing.
That looks good.
The last time, the brownies stuck to the pan a bit even though I sprayed it, so I made sure I sprayed it good this time.

Also, the last time I assumed this pan was 11 by 7 inches, because that was the largest and only non square size that was listed for baking times on the box. It turns out it's actually 13 by 9 and a half inches... I didn't take a picture of myself proving this because it was really awkward trying to hold the tape measure in place while taking a picture.
Not pictured: Fun with tape measures.
Anyway, can't let silly things like pan sizes hold me back! One small mess later, the batter is ready to go.
And in you go!
And 32-35 minutes later...
*angelic noises here*
Let that cool for a bit, and give it a try!
One handed pictures: always blurry.
And it is delicious.
