Of Bujold and Jones
Well! After a tireless day of finishing up Curse of Chalion... I have finally finished reading Curse of Chalion! (Hey, I'm tired, don't make fun of my disoriented line of thought) It was so shiny!! It made me happy.
If it didn't take me so long to read those last 200 pages, I might go into a more detailed analysis of my thoughts, but apparently that's not going to happen. I have another point to talk about anyway. I'll try to be brief-- I should really go to bed, and I really am tired.
I went to the bookstore today. I decided yesterday that I wanted to renew my enthusiasm of Diana Wynne Jones, whom I have declared to be my favorite author. So after a bit of perusal I picked out two of her books, and, just because, Paladin of Souls. Not a bad day's shopping.
It was after I was back at home when I glanced at the back cover of Paladin where other people talk about how fantastic the book is, when I discovered a line of praise from none other than Diana Wynne Jones. I decided that PoS and I were going to be good friends.
