Amaaaaaaaaaaaazing weekend! :heart:
Gosh this weekend rocked my socks. Saturday I had the Greenwood Car Show, and Sunday was the Gay Pride Parade! Yay.
Greenwood Car Show was awesome, there was about 3 more blocks of orgasmic cars than usual, maybe even more than that. (More bliss. :D) I took pictures, though many of them pissed me off and didn't have much artistic merit. I went with mi familia (its been so long since I spoke Spanish. It makes my brain all tingly.) and though Mom and I tired early, we were out in the sun for a good 2 hours. My dad had so much fun being able to have cool chats the the car owners (because he knows so much about them and fixed QUITE a few fantabulous cars in his life) and such and such. The rest of the day was kinda weird, but I got to go see my auntie and uncle at their place and had a yummy gormet meal and homemade ice cream/sorbet.
The Gay Pride Parade was probably the most amazing thing ever. The Parade itself was rockin, it was wonderful to see so many people that believed the same thing, and were doing something about it, especially the people that had signs like, "Catholic Mom who loves her lesbian daugther!" and "We Love Our Gay Son!" and things like that. Super ninjatastic. I went with Addison, Axel, Milly, Adrienne, and Morgan, though Adrienne had to return home early. D: Afterwards, Addison, Axel and I went into the fountain because we were probably going to melt very shortly, Addison and I danced some fabulous swing to the Techno for a while, hella awesome. (Though it was kinda hard, because it was reaaaaaaaally fast and I had bare feet. Cool, none the less.) We went to Larry's Market and ran into my cousin Lindsey, which was awesome, and hung out with her for the rest of Pride. Then we sat in the grass forever, waiting for Addison and Axel to stop flirting with the boys in the fountain. The rest of the day was an adventure, getting from one place to the other, getting food, and stuff. We watched a movie called "8 Women" which was a French murder-mystery musical. Kinda blew my mind.
