Yay! I'm glad you like it! :D We're finally at the point where I go very AU from COE and it's so satisfying seeing all the different threads of a story come together.

When people hurt Rose the Doctor goes from 0 to 60 in .01 seconds.
Writing Rose's speech was almost as fun as writing the Doctor's speech for the next chapter. :D
I really wanted to explore Lois. She's such an important character but you can't really get in her head a lot in a TV show.

I wanna marry this chapter <33 Hmm, I find myself saying this a lot lately with DW fics haha, but I mean it! Even though I haven't seen Torchwood yet (don't hate me, i'm finding links!) I do know what happened in Children of Earth so it helps me love this story.

Rose being BAMF is just unf!
Doctor's anger over what happened to Rose? I kind of want to see it happen.

I don't hate people who haven't seen Torchwood. :D I'm trying to write this set of chapters so that you can understand it without having to go watch the show.

One of the big themes (at least of Day Five) of COE is that ordinary people can stand up to those in power. Lois isn't special, other than the fact that she's being super brave and helping save the world. :D

I think that if there weren't dire consiquences the Doctor would be dishing out some retribution to the Torchwood in Pete's world. The easiest way to earn death at the Doctor's hands is to hurt Rose.

BAMF!Rose is one of my favorites to write (besides Dark!Doctor). And I think that in 200 years she could get to be pretty kick-butt.
