Mock exam season, and a little of the old hohoho
'm properly into mock exam season at the moment. I've already been late for one of the them. Completely not my fault though.
Had an English Language 2 exam today, and the final question was to write a short essay on 'Do you think you are independent? Would you like more independence?' which was surprisingly fun. I kind of got really into it an started talking about physical and mental independence and how living in an excessively controlling environment can limit your mind (thank youDead Poets Society!). But I kind of went a little bit of track and starting saying that no one can be truly independent in our current society unless we all reverted to anarchy. But I think I did okay.
And tomorrow, I have to come in for my two and a half hours AS statistics mock. Two and a half hours! Oh yeah, and did I mention that my maths teacher hasn't actually taught us statistics yet? That's next term! We're doing pure maths this term! But yeah, we have to take a test in it anyway and I just know I'm going to answer like one question and then sit there for two hours doing nothing. Ugh.
Ooooh, yesterday I went with my mum and bought my bridesmaid dress! *squee* I'm happy now! I like it and it's pretty and it's purple. It goes out when I spin around. :DDDDD It's here! I'm taking the flower off though, because pink and purple should never go together.
Aaaand I bought one of those awesome military coats they're selling for £25 in Primark. It's black with all these massive silver buttons on it! I put it on and feel like I'm in Torchwood. :D
I'm babysitting at Lambeth Palace tonight! Oooh, I love being able to say that! Which means I will have actual real actual money for Christmas presents! YAAAAY! (And Heroes tonight! I'm so sad it's almost the end of the first series! TT_TT)
And I'm just posting this to make sure everyone sees the new Potter Puppet Pals vid. It actually make me laugh more than The Mysterious Ticking Noise.
