I wanna play ball, not dance hall

Since I last updated:

1. I babysat a child at Lambeth Palace. She's the daughter of the secretary of international affairs for the Archbishop of Canterbury, which is rather impressive. So it was really quite intimidating walking in. You have to go through this massive stone archway and tell the gatekeeper where you're going, and then navigate though all these courtyards. It has the feel of college quads about it.
2. Ah yes. It has finally happened. I am now a member of a Christian youth group. EWWW!

3. There is a man living in the flats across from my garden, who looks just like Sylar. I looked out my window and nearly freaked.

4. I finally got around to watching Spiderman 3. Good grief that film's awful. The Saturday Night Fever scene was toe-curlingly embarrassing. And here it is:

Also, by the end of the series I am so so sick of seeing Mary-Jane Watson screaming and being useless, whle the men fight around her.

5. I also saw High School Musical 2. Okay, everyone judge me. But it was so FUN. I love those films, they make me happy. And it's all pretty. Especially watching Ryan (with his wonderfully co-ordinated hat-and-shirt outfits) and Chad (who has awesome hair) who are both so gorgeous. Which is why this song is the best one in the whole film:

6. I celebrated my friend Sian's sweet sixteen by hanging around with her and a bunch of friends in Covent Garden and then going to the Hard Rock Cafe. I love that place.

7. I've decided that I either want to study English at uni, or perhaps mediaeval history, or Celtic mythology, specifically Arthurian stuff.

8. Going back to school tomorrow. Mon frere gets another week off, lucky, private-school educated bastard. School is so, so awful at the moment. I do not learn at school. I am not taught. I have a grand total of three good teachers.

spiderman, high school musical, sian, history, birthdays, religion, heroes, mythology, english, university, school, baby sitting, christianity, youth group
