(no subject)
So, I went to see The Da Vinci Code after reading the book. The film seemed to highlight all the stupid points of the book to the point where you watch it and think, "Wow, this is ridiculous!" But, it was still fun to watch, like when Tom Hanks is like, "Wait a minute - Roslin! Rose Line! Jesus! Da Vinci! Sauniere! The Vitruvian Man! The Priory! Opus Dei! OMG YOU'RE THE DESCENDANT OF JESUS CHRIST!!" And the bit where he cuts himself and his blood make this little sword shape in the sink. Also, him going up to this guy on a London bus and going, "Can I borrow your phone?" and the guy's like, "Yeah, sure, take my phone! In fact, I'll help you look search for the knight a Pope interred on the Net!"
So, yeah it was stupid but fun.
The Silas bits were so sad though, 'specially the whole self-punishment thing. Poor guy... And why weren't his eyes red if he was an albino?
