just a little update before I leave for the Elton John concert
yah, In three hours time, we're there.. Taking the bus in an hour, and have some time to get to the arena and check it out. It's the new football/soccer arena in town and I haven't been there yet. so..
yesterday I spent most of the day in town with Camilla and Elin. Just talking and shopping. Got my belated birthday present from Camilla. Part one of season 2 of Twin Peaks. That ended up with me buying the second part. What's the point of just having part 1 and not 2? Also bought The Good Son and Kinky Boots. Love The Good Son. Don't know why, but it's just...chilling. Kinky Boots was a great film. As I like The Calendar Girls, this was just great! Chiwetel is doing an awesome job as Lola. Who would have thought that The Operative looked good in drag?! I surely didn't..
Have also ordered Toy Soldiers and the 2 disc edition of Hot Fuzz. Just had to. I like them..
Gotta get ready for the concert now. Just typical that it's raining!! WHY?!?!?!
We all hoped for sunny weather today, but NOOOOOO. Oh, well, just crossing our fingers that Sir Elton is in a good mood and gives a good show.
