One day until weekend
Has been a good week, really. Tuesday I started work at 7AM and found out that the boss had left me some chocolate at work for "doing a good job" during Easter. Not bad after 3 days of work:-)
Was at in the counter all day, as Susanne didn't have anything to do for me in the back. (That's where I'm supposed to be)
Didn't do any big blunders, don't think I did any.
After work I was picked up by my brother and his girlfriend. Was invited to dinner at my parents house, as my brother and Stina were leaving early Wednesday morning. Nice. Dad's cousin was also there. Talked for nearly 2 hours after we were done eating, and still sitting at the dinner table. Not often that happens.
Hugo and Stina dropped me off as they were visiting a friend on an island not far from me. Stina said she would like to come back this summer, even if my brother isn't home. I like her and wouldn't hesitate to invite her either.
Yesterday I helped Susanne filêt'ing 60 kg of salmon. You bet I still can feel it in my arms. Muscles that haven't been used for years, that you notice.
After work I took a stroll in town and ended up buying myself a book and a dvd. (shock!)
The book was Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Haven't read all that much yet, but I like it.
The dvd was the Bill & Ted's most Exellent Collection. Just had to have it when I found it. The movies are so stupidly funny. And having a 3rd disc of extra material isn't all that bad either.
Fell asleep during Bougus Journey. I even missed my fave line: Hey Ted, don't fear the reaper!
Watched the 2 first episodes of Jericho on tv in the evening. So far, I'm going to continue watching.
Today the day went by fast. Not too fast, but..
Was in the counter for a few hours before I helped out Susanne again with filêt'ing salmon and trouts.
Learned how to run the smoking cabinet (we smoke our own salmon, cod, mackerell and halibut)
I have to do it several times before learning how to operate it on my own, but learning takes time, either way.
Bought fish for dinner. It's so good! Two sorts of fish, one being salmon, and it's some sort of Italian ham around it. No need for spice as the ham (think it's Parma) melts and give the spice you need, mmm.
Wathced the pilot episode of Aquaman/Mercy Reef. Why hasn't this show been picked up? I'd see it. Like the story where he hails from hehe, but that's just me. Always been fascinated by that place.
So tired now and it's not even 9PM. No wonder, as I'm getting up at 5.30AM every morning. It's ok, as I can go home from work at 3PM.
Irritating! My hotmail is not working! Logging on with password and then.. nothing. Can't load the page. Just want to throw the whole laptop in the wall sometimes. Probably just some maintenance or something, but irritating none the less..
