Yesterday the bus company cancelled several of the buses, because of the weather. Today ALL buses in town are cancelled and they don't know when they can be back on the road again. There are many people (me included) who don't have acess to a car, so what can we do? Send the taxi bill to the bus company? If the buses aren't driving on Monday, I have to stay home from work, as there are no other way I can get there. Walking is out of the question as it is too far away. If work pays for the taxi-bill it's fine. I have to resign my job on a written paper at the latest on Wednesday. Cross my fingers that the buses will be back on the road on Monday. Tuesday/Wednesday at the latest. This has really been some "snow-days".
The winter break starting on Monday too. People don't have to go out of town to go skiing, that's for sure!
Called
beluga earlier, before I found out the buses don't go at all, and said I was not coming to their housewarming party tonight.
I had to wait 40 min yesterday before a bus came. By then, 3 buses were late and I guess some of them never showed.
Until yesterday the police had said it was better to let the cars stay home and rather take the bus if people were to go out. Now some of them can't get anywhere.
Is there any stores that get costumers today??
Thankfully I've got food for the weekend, and I can walk to a store on Monday if there's a crisis.
Hope the weather changes soon, right now I'd rather have rain than snow.

On the news they said that a part of the roof on the Post terminal had collapsed because of the snow, and a big stadium has been closed as the owner was afraid the roof might collapse. According to him it's more than 2 meters of snow on the roof.
So today I have planned on doing nothing, other than watch tv and read. What else is there, except being online?
