Picture the scene
It is a few weeks before Christmas. The shops are full of people milling about, frantically trying to find something to buy their awkward Aunt Maud. I'm suffering from dizzy spells and am pushing around a large buggy containing a bored little boy.

I was about to join the end of the queue when I was beckoned over by what looked like the manageress to her desk at the side, so I didn't have to go through all the windy paths of the queueing system and run over people when it was my turn to get through the narrow aisle of tills.
* Marks & Spencer
Not only is their queueing system roomy but they asked if I wanted a 'gift receipt' so the recipient of the cardigan I bought could return it if needed without having to ask me for my receipt showing the price.

Atrocious layout. It's hard enough to get round the aisles as a person carrying a bag, impossible when you have a buggy. Almost keeled over at one point due to their heating being turned up.

I must have missed the picture of Victoria Beckham and the sign "Your arse must be this size or smaller to get around this shop" when I last (tried) to go there.
