[Fanreport] KAT-TUN Live 2012 CHAIN - Niigata 02/11
Here the fanreport of Niigata 2/11 :D This is what I can remember, and my memories are kinda blurry because I was too excited (it is my first KT live ever XD) to focus and remember xD it turned out being long but I think some parts you can guess from fanrecordings.
KAT-TUN LIVE 2012 "CHAIN"
2012.02.11 NIIGATA
Before the beginning
This is something I didn't remind at first but just after many weeks, but that made me teary-eyed (so I wonder how could I forget to write it down!!). Before the concert begins, we could clearly hear the shout coming from the backstage. It was surely them forming the circle and then shouting. It was... moving. If I have to sum up this tour in just one moment, probably is this.
Not to say, I was almost teary and we screamed for the excitement too :D
INTRO VTR

There are those huge balls/smiles logo floating around Tokyo. Then we see the boys in suit, one after the other. All super-cool. The first is Koki (can’t express how much he’s cool there): it appears the name KOKI TANAKA; he walks in this room that’s very similar to the one of UW cover, and he passes by Junno: JUNNOSUKE TAGUCHI; then together they keep walking and pass by Ueda (he’s fixing the clothes, shirt half opened, he’s SO MANLY), TATSUYA UEDA; then they walk together and pass by Maru, YUICHI NAKAMARU; and last they all pass by Kame, KAZUYA KAMENASHI. After this, there’s a scene of all of them together.
Then they’re wearing this long black leather/vinyl Matrix style coat and are around the city. They have CG wings (angels). All of them have in their hand a ball with a word written on it: Koki is yuuki (courage); Ueda ai (love); Nakamaru egao (smile), Junno nakama (companion/friend), Kame kibou (hope). They blow on them and the words go around the city.
At the end they’re all together on top of a roof, with this black ball in their hands. All throughout the video the song is epic-style.
Then the screen opens and they’re there, in the same position of the video, wearing the black coat and with the ball in their hand they throw on the stage before starting to sing.
BIRTH
The first song was Birth. Of course there were fire special effects. Kame got wrong his solo part and was too cute for words, lol. He realized it, laughed and corrected, and after he ended he turned his back laughing not to show us he was laughing indeed xDDD
STAR RIDER - Change Ur Word - Keep the faith - One drop - White
Between SR and CUW they moved to the central stage using the transparent moving stage. For white they did the greetings/self-introductions in the center stage (with a sweet kame “I/we wanted to meet you! <3) and then went back to the main stage.
LOCK ON
We saw the PV. The instrumental at the beginning is veeeeery good, but I wouldn’t know if it’s the PV version of the song or if it’s specially for the concert (to give them time to change clothes). Anyway, I love that instrumental, I had shivers <3 then the beginning of the pv is basically the robot inside the glass thing.
They come out and they dance and sing LOCK ON. Behind them there was the PV but I haven’t even looked at it (real KT >>>> PV, sorry xD). I have just realized that PV choreo and real choreo are the same.
COSMIC CHILD
They move to the central stage again. The choreo is very good, I liked it <3 Also, Kame was incredibly covered with sweat after just 3 songs! XD
New Song (maybe あの日のように?). It’s a slow song.
FINALE (Junno Solo)
It’s dance heavy and he’s super cool <3 it starts with a PV on the screen, of him in a room sitting on the sofa (iirc), and the woman going outside the house making the glass of wine falling on the floor, with a sad!Junno left behind. I think we see angsty scenes of the PV around half song too. After the end of the song we see the end of the PV: the scene of the glass breaking goes back being intact and the woman comes back home, and Junno smiles :D
Step by Step (Maru solo)
The beginning, the ending and somewhere in the middle are slightly remixed but the song is the same we know. The clothes have neon lights everywhere, on the back/arms/legs. The arena is in the dark and you can see these lights moving and guess the steps/maru’s body parts. There is also a nice choreo w/ all the dancers (with lights on them too) and maru halfway the song.
VTR 1
1) Manezaru-san doing boxing. It takes off the head and you see it’s ueda. The coach/cheering for him, you don’t see him but iirc from the voice was kame or koki.
2) Koki dressed as the Guinness record way (black jersey + white pants) we’ve seen in Zettai Manetakunaru. He did some extercise like move arms and put on/out quickly the pants xD
3) 2 videos with samurai junno dressed as samurai love attack and kame+maru w/ his servants bringing him a challenge. The first one was eating a purin in 5 secs. The second it was a game he was about to manage but failed at the very end.
Ultimate Wheels
I have blurred memories here but I think it’s from here that they have the coloured jackets with their new colors.
ONE DAY
I unexpectedly like this song a lot! Live is very very catchy, and you end up singing “you you you!” with them even if it is the first time you hear it lol. XD the big screen on the main stage has a sort of very colorful frame around the close-up of the boys singing, and during the parts “you you you” and “one day” those huge words appears xD
PERFECT
Kame took everyone by surprise when he suddenly asked “….SAY!” in the middle of his solo line, so the hyphens sang something like “£$%& ikitemo shouganai” XD and kame’s “sankyu!” at the end was super cute! <3
I have a memory there was some fanservice around here but I don’t remember it xD maybe Kameno?
I think this was during Perfect… anyway, at the beginning of Koki’s rap, Kame and Maru went behind/side of Koki and started imitating Koki!!! XD especially kame was trolling with such a serious face it was Ueda (and maybe also junno?) arrived soon after. They were moving from main stage to center stage and the trolling boys followed koki keeping trolling and Koki bursted into laught and messed up part of the rap xD
MC (this is what me and Marco could remember after the concert xD not in chronological order)
The mc started from the center stage. They said they did it because they received a suggestion about doing like this. Kame changed his jacket with the towel from the very beginning. Of course it started with koki’s “are you enjoying? What it’s the first con and there are just 20 people? Are you enjoying? More! More! Then, sit down!” but we didn’t sit down xD so after a while kame, that was looking at our block (A block), repeated “sit down!” but the fans answered badly xD so kame was shocked and went to the other members “ehy ehy I’ve just noticed a funny thing! We’ve said “sit down!” but then they answered “WE WON’T!”” XD (actually it was because the front blocks, if we sat down, couldn’t see them well). Halfway someone (Ueda?) said “we should turn this side too while speaking” and koki went “no, we just have to do the MC turning continuously!” and pirouetted xD
Also Kame explained why he got Birth intro wrong. It seems during rehearsals everyone was always silent but this time Nakamaru said something, kame was surprised and messed up xD
Kame also apologized for not having being able to do the fanmeeting they’ve promised. <3 Then koki said “isn’t this concert a sort of fanmeeting with the form of a concert?” <3
Kame was keeping drinking and chewing the bottle he was drinking from, until when the gum broke down and cut kame’s lower lip. So Koki went “that’s not to chew! Stop it!” and then said, like you do with kids when they hurt themselves, “shall I suck your lip?”
Goods talk. Koki said his favourite one is the pouch. Ueda said it’s Ueda’s uchiwa xD then Junno entered the convo and asked “and you, Kazuya?” and the fans went “kyaaa!” XD so they commented the fans’ reactions.maru “now just 1 person went kyaa” and kame commented “he is the only one that calls me like that here”, and continued “Kazuya likes…” and since the audience went kyaaa kyaa at the fact of kame talking about himself like that, he repeated it 2-3 times xD
By the way, kame likes the t-shirt. Maru likes the band-aids/plasters.
Talking about the bags, they said they is both white and black version. So asked “who bought the black one? Who the white one? Who both?” then koki at the end “but a plenty of you didn’t bought any!” XD
They talked about having showers before the con. There is just 1 shower so they do it one by one. When it was kame’s turn, suddenly maru went “kame, sorry, can I take another shower? Just the shampoo!” but he took 15 minutes XD nakamaru kept saying “it was just 10!” but kame kept repeating “15, 15!” with serious face xD
Kame and maru, after the rehearsal, had lunch together (miso ramen? Don’t remember). but the rehearsal ended at 3am so kame suddenly became sleepy while eating (he imitated himself very cutely XD). Koki said “why didn’t u invite me!” and they answered “your rehearsal ended at 5am, it was too late”.
Maru also said that his mother is from niigata so he’s half Niigata guy xD he went to Sado (his mother’s birthplace) and what he eat there was very delicious! Then kame said he should buy a boat, maru went “why!” and koki said “well, taguchi and I can drive it!”. But if he lets koki do it, he wants to be called “captain” and/or “Pirate” XD
Maru also said “it’s something I shoudlnt’ say, but we did a secret location in Sado”. It turned out being junno’s batsu game, that will be in the album. So they didn’t want to say more.
Ueda kept making random comments and being scolded by the members for don’t having timing sense and not reading the atmosphere. Also junno said something that had double reaction from the audience (“eh?!” and “oh!”) so koki said he must pay more attention to audience reactions xD
Kame said that he always watches Maru’s drama before going on air for Going. Maru asked to the fans to watch at least one episode. Ueda said that he watched it too, but even more, there was one day there was a program about soccer he was really interested, but he chose to watch Maru’s drama instead, so we went “ooooh!”, but koki replied “it’s the first time I hear you’re interested in soccer!” XD
Koki asked us to watch Hissatsu shigotonin, using more or less the same words used by Maru (just that Hissatsu shigotonin is 1 episode XD). Kame went backstage singing Hissatsu Shigotonin theme song, and came back wearing the Chain logo jacket.
Koki also said around halfway “do you notice that we’re absurdly in high-tension?” XDD
They all changed their jackets with the one with the Chain logo and sang SMILE FOR YOU.
RUN FOR YOU
There were some audio problems, Kame-Koki-Ueda’s mikes became suddenly lower while junno was super high and we all went “BIKKURI!” xDDDD
Band members presentation + beatbox + beatbox together with the band (THIS last one was really really good!)
DANGEROUS CAT (Koki Solo)
I spent all the time watching the screens (cuz he was in the center stage so I could see just the back) covering my mouth with the hand xDDD just to say the shock I had from this performance and this lyrics. Just to say, I LOVE this performance xD It’s SO koki-like. At start it’s all dark and you don’t understand where the performance will start. The lights opens just after dog sounds. Koki is sitting, dressed in a military way. There are the female dancers with a cat tail and the male dancers with chains at their neck all around him. The song is kinda dance heavy. It’s also from a female point of view. The lyrics sounds like “So you say you can make me wet? Try to make me wet, try to touch it, try to lick it, my name is dangerous cat”…. xD The projected video on the screen of koki performing is very effected.
ZUTTO (Kame solo)
It is very simple. And I mean very. I was very impressed. He obviously wanted to focus on the voice instead of the performance, and he sang reaallly good indeed. He was wearing a simple white shirt. During the instrumental in the middle of the song everything became dark and the setting/screens took a starry sky effect. Then he appeared again, finished sing, and before disappearing under the stage, he throw some feathers.
I was said by a JP girl that this song’s lyrics has a feeling that the message is wider than a simple love song. Like it’s more a message directed to everyone, not to just a beloved girl.
Personal opinion: I was very impressed kame didn’t something performance-wise as he’s usual to do. I think this must have a special meaning (focus on his vocals, on the lyrics, being a quiet point between 2 strong songs, etc). anyway, it’s surely an heartwarming song perfect to listen before going to sleep or during sad moments :)
AGAIN (Ueda solo) <-- actually in the interviews he’s said there will be 2 diff songs for arena and dome so it’s not sure this is “again”. As Expected. Ueda's solo for Arena tour is "Hansel & Gretel"
It begins with feathers falling from the sky with the instrumental of hana no mau machi. Then he appears dressed in a simple t-shirt + a fluffy guitar xD
The song is rock, mostly (or all?) in english. The lyrics are very strong IMO. I just remember the line that sounds like “they call me bad, but what about mothers throwing away their childrens?”. I need to check this lyrics as soon as the album is out. I like this song, and also the performance, while Ueda is singing, his face is very fierce.
SOLDIER
I SO LIKE THIS SONG <3 it has a dramatic feeling. Koki, maru and junno started around the back stage/center stage. Kame and Ueda sang the second part, sitting on the stairs on the main stage. I don't remember them dancing.
2 new songs (the second one is surely hodokyou)
Video2 : Dracula and Dr. maru
We see the scene of the aonori attack and the “sorry, you can see my nipples” in NMP dvd. Then it starts a sort of interview to Dracula in which he’s asked “do you remember saying it?” and he answers “no”. “really?” “….I remember perfectly”. Kame was smiling a couple of times xD behind Dracula there was manezaru-ueda w/o head and interviewer said “is that guy your friend?”, Dracula turns “you’re inside the shooting w/o head!” and ueda pulled it on quickly and wrongly xD then asked Dracula to do the aonori attack to his food XDD
Then same interview to maru, if he remembered that patient (yes), if he remembered that scene asked before (yes) and if he wanted to meet him again. At the end he answered yes, Lovenosuke (junno samurai love attack ver) arrives as maru’s assistant (and maru tsukkomi him 2-3 times because the shoulder thing hits him and the horns covers the agenda XD). And they settle to meet on 2/11 in niigata.
So maru appears as doctor and kame as Dracula xD
They chat a bit, embarrassed. They hold hands etc. during the scene appear also koki!pants, manezaru!ueda, junno!samurai. they’re the 5 characters of this tour, I’d say xD also Koki at a certan point commented kame’s acting I don’t remember about what, and kame apologized saying it’s a 2-years-old character, so he doesn’t know how to interpret it anymore XD
They played a game w/ 2 big balloons w7 the audience. Kame+manezaru were with the black team (right side) and junno+maru w/ white team. Koki was the judge from the main stage. The team that won had 5 people inside that area chosen for a signed poster.
The scene ended w/ Dracula biting doctor maru again!! :D
NEVERxOVER
The song starts with the chorus, without KT on stage, but just a video with 5 robots teaching us how to dance to the chorus. Then they appear and as you can imagine, the [] parts in the lyrics are really sing by the fans!
Members presentation: Kame was giving us the back moving his butt, and every time we ended our part to sing, he turned with a supercute smile, then back shaking his butt, we sang, he turned again, etc xD
Junno was juggling during his presentation. He was very smiley when we sang all together the “iriguchi deguchi taguchi!”
Koki did some anime character-style movements, similar to karate moves (sorry, I am bad at recognizing these references X_X).
Maru winked. ALL throughout the presentation! He also did a wink+kiss sequence that turned out being VERY well done (and consequential screams)
Ueda was all jumpey and smiley xD
They move towards the central stage using the transparent stage. In doing this, they first do an accent dance (like the one they did at Music Lovers, but the steps are different ofc), very cool. Then they put on a fluorescent mask and took 2 mask in their hands. With the backdancers, they did this creepy mask dance (it was all dark so you can see only the expressionless mask moving). Once reached the central stage, they start singing again and dancing the NxO hand movements together with us. <3
GIVE ME, GIVE ME, GIVE ME
This song was a surprise for everyone!!! They danced while singing, the dance is kinda quick, they were good! I liked both the choreo and how they sang it :D
LIPS-Yorokobi no uta - peaceful days
At the end of peaceful days, there was the usual “3, 2, 1, JUMP!” by Kame, with fireworks explosions all around (we went all BIKKURI here too when we heard explosions behind us LOL).
Yuuki no Hana
They sang it on the transparent stage going back to the main stage. They surely put their heart in singing it.
FINAL MESSAGES
All of them said more or less that they’re happy of being there and do a tour after 2 years, they enjoyed a lot and hope we enjoyed too, and thanked us for coming in the middle of the snow. That the meaning of “chain” is creating a bond, and they hope we’ve created a bond w/ the people next to us, even if we don’t know them.
Ueda broke his earphone LOL xD So he said “I don’t want to be scolded, so if you find It please give it back” and koki commented “let’s apologize all together for this” xD
Koki was the last and ended his message with a “well… these are KAT-TUN” that made us bawl, lol XD
They wore again the long black coat and the screen closed in front of them, with the same image of them of top of a roof.
ENCORE: REAL FACE+GOING!
Maru had to run to take the Shinkansen around half Real face :/ (it also seems he went on the train still dressed with the con clothes LOL). So at the beginning Kame said “there are the last 3 mins of Maru, keep an eye on him and greet him properly!”. Koki also asked maru to do the first rap but Maru refused xD The last RF rap Koki said “I have no choice, right… JUNNO!” and junno sang it!
The end of going, since Maru wasn’t there anymore, Kame said “I’ve seen there are plenty of maru fans. Can someone lend an uchiwa?” and they used the uchiwa to make the final greeting, asking the fan to join hands with the people next to them.
Also, kame instead of saying “WE ARE….!” (for the fans to scream KAT-TUN) he said a simple “sei… ah no, it’s different!”, realizing the mistake he laughed too, and the fans screamed “WE ARE!!!!” XD Koki defended him saying it’s 2 years they don’t do it :P
They’ve also announced the Sendai dates were decided and just to wait for further infos (which were sent out the day after, btw xD). Going out, Junno said the same line he said at the end of NMP10 (“when you go home, do a massage”) and Ueda stopped on stage before going out like Maru did at the end of NMP10 imitating the staff voice!!! SO cute xD Koki came back to pick him up saying “no need to do Maru’s role!” XDDDDD
We didn’t have a second encore :(

Final comment: I am SO SO SO SO HAPPY to have been able to see them live, after so many years. Also, I am so happy for being able to see CHAIN concert, especially Niigata. They were SO HAPPY. It moves my heart remembering how Ueda was all jumping around asking to fans to make more noise, Maru and Junno waving all around, Kame and Koki staring in the eyes of the fans. I could feel how much they've missed last year's tour and contact with fans. It was also a nice experience go to a concert without knowing the songs LOL xD In the pamphlet it's also written that they've decided everything here, from the setlist to the directing to the goods to the effects, everything. It took time and efforts but they're satisfied. I am too :)
So yes... it's surely one of the best memories I have until now, together with DBS <3 Those 5 boys surely deserve all our love.

They talked about having showers before the con. There is just 1 shower so they do it one by one. When it was kame’s turn, suddenly maru went “kame, sorry, can I take another shower? Just the shampoo!” but he took 15 minutes XD nakamaru kept saying “it was just 10!” but kame kept repeating “15, 15!” with serious face xD
Kame and maru, after the rehearsal, had lunch together (miso ramen? Don’t remember). but the rehearsal ended at 3am so kame suddenly became sleepy while eating (he imitated himself very cutely XD). Koki said “why didn’t u invite me!” and they answered “your rehearsal ended at 5am, it was too late”.
Maru also said that his mother is from niigata so he’s half Niigata guy xD he went to Sado (his mother’s birthplace) and what he eat there was very delicious! Then kame said he should buy a boat, maru went “why!” and koki said “well, taguchi and I can drive it!”. But if he lets koki do it, he wants to be called “captain” and/or “Pirate” XD
Maru also said “it’s something I shoudlnt’ say, but we did a secret location in Sado”. It turned out being junno’s batsu game, that will be in the album. So they didn’t want to say more.
Ueda kept making random comments and being scolded by the members for don’t having timing sense and not reading the atmosphere. Also junno said something that had double reaction from the audience (“eh?!” and “oh!”) so koki said he must pay more attention to audience reactions xD
Kame said that he always watches Maru’s drama before going on air for Going. Maru asked to the fans to watch at least one episode. Ueda said that he watched it too, but even more, there was one day there was a program about soccer he was really interested, but he chose to watch Maru’s drama instead, so we went “ooooh!”, but koki replied “it’s the first time I hear you’re interested in soccer!” XD
Koki asked us to watch Hissatsu shigotonin, using more or less the same words used by Maru (just that Hissatsu shigotonin is 1 episode XD). Kame went backstage singing Hissatsu Shigotonin theme song, and came back wearing the Chain logo jacket.
Koki also said around halfway “do you notice that we’re absurdly in high-tension?” XDD
They all changed their jackets with the one with the Chain logo and sang SMILE FOR YOU.
RUN FOR YOU
There were some audio problems, Kame-Koki-Ueda’s mikes became suddenly lower while junno was super high and we all went “BIKKURI!” xDDDD

DANGEROUS CAT (Koki Solo)
I spent all the time watching the screens (cuz he was in the center stage so I could see just the back) covering my mouth with the hand xDDD just to say the shock I had from this performance and this lyrics. Just to say, I LOVE this performance xD It’s SO koki-like. At start it’s all dark and you don’t understand where the performance will start. The lights opens just after dog sounds. Koki is sitting, dressed in a military way. There are the female dancers with a cat tail and the male dancers with chains at their neck all around him. The song is kinda dance heavy. It’s also from a female point of view. The lyrics sounds like “So you say you can make me wet? Try to make me wet, try to touch it, try to lick it, my name is dangerous cat”…. xD The projected video on the screen of koki performing is very effected.
ZUTTO (Kame solo)
It is very simple. And I mean very. I was very impressed. He obviously wanted to focus on the voice instead of the performance, and he sang reaallly good indeed. He was wearing a simple white shirt. During the instrumental in the middle of the song everything became dark and the setting/screens took a starry sky effect. Then he appeared again, finished sing, and before disappearing under the stage, he throw some feathers.
I was said by a JP girl that this song’s lyrics has a feeling that the message is wider than a simple love song. Like it’s more a message directed to everyone, not to just a beloved girl.
Personal opinion: I was very impressed kame didn’t something performance-wise as he’s usual to do. I think this must have a special meaning (focus on his vocals, on the lyrics, being a quiet point between 2 strong songs, etc). anyway, it’s surely an heartwarming song perfect to listen before going to sleep or during sad moments :)
AGAIN (Ueda solo) <-- actually in the interviews he’s said there will be 2 diff songs for arena and dome so it’s not sure this is “again”. As Expected. Ueda's solo for Arena tour is "Hansel & Gretel"
It begins with feathers falling from the sky with the instrumental of hana no mau machi. Then he appears dressed in a simple t-shirt + a fluffy guitar xD
The song is rock, mostly (or all?) in english. The lyrics are very strong IMO. I just remember the line that sounds like “they call me bad, but what about mothers throwing away their childrens?”. I need to check this lyrics as soon as the album is out. I like this song, and also the performance, while Ueda is singing, his face is very fierce.
SOLDIER
I SO LIKE THIS SONG <3 it has a dramatic feeling. Koki, maru and junno started around the back stage/center stage. Kame and Ueda sang the second part, sitting on the stairs on the main stage. I don't remember them dancing.
2 new songs (the second one is surely hodokyou)
Video2 : Dracula and Dr. maru
We see the scene of the aonori attack and the “sorry, you can see my nipples” in NMP dvd. Then it starts a sort of interview to Dracula in which he’s asked “do you remember saying it?” and he answers “no”. “really?” “….I remember perfectly”. Kame was smiling a couple of times xD behind Dracula there was manezaru-ueda w/o head and interviewer said “is that guy your friend?”, Dracula turns “you’re inside the shooting w/o head!” and ueda pulled it on quickly and wrongly xD then asked Dracula to do the aonori attack to his food XDD
Then same interview to maru, if he remembered that patient (yes), if he remembered that scene asked before (yes) and if he wanted to meet him again. At the end he answered yes, Lovenosuke (junno samurai love attack ver) arrives as maru’s assistant (and maru tsukkomi him 2-3 times because the shoulder thing hits him and the horns covers the agenda XD). And they settle to meet on 2/11 in niigata.
So maru appears as doctor and kame as Dracula xD
They chat a bit, embarrassed. They hold hands etc. during the scene appear also koki!pants, manezaru!ueda, junno!samurai. they’re the 5 characters of this tour, I’d say xD also Koki at a certan point commented kame’s acting I don’t remember about what, and kame apologized saying it’s a 2-years-old character, so he doesn’t know how to interpret it anymore XD
They played a game w/ 2 big balloons w7 the audience. Kame+manezaru were with the black team (right side) and junno+maru w/ white team. Koki was the judge from the main stage. The team that won had 5 people inside that area chosen for a signed poster.
The scene ended w/ Dracula biting doctor maru again!! :D
NEVERxOVER
The song starts with the chorus, without KT on stage, but just a video with 5 robots teaching us how to dance to the chorus. Then they appear and as you can imagine, the [] parts in the lyrics are really sing by the fans!
Members presentation: Kame was giving us the back moving his butt, and every time we ended our part to sing, he turned with a supercute smile, then back shaking his butt, we sang, he turned again, etc xD
Junno was juggling during his presentation. He was very smiley when we sang all together the “iriguchi deguchi taguchi!”
Koki did some anime character-style movements, similar to karate moves (sorry, I am bad at recognizing these references X_X).
Maru winked. ALL throughout the presentation! He also did a wink+kiss sequence that turned out being VERY well done (and consequential screams)
Ueda was all jumpey and smiley xD
They move towards the central stage using the transparent stage. In doing this, they first do an accent dance (like the one they did at Music Lovers, but the steps are different ofc), very cool. Then they put on a fluorescent mask and took 2 mask in their hands. With the backdancers, they did this creepy mask dance (it was all dark so you can see only the expressionless mask moving). Once reached the central stage, they start singing again and dancing the NxO hand movements together with us. <3
GIVE ME, GIVE ME, GIVE ME
This song was a surprise for everyone!!! They danced while singing, the dance is kinda quick, they were good! I liked both the choreo and how they sang it :D
LIPS-Yorokobi no uta - peaceful days
At the end of peaceful days, there was the usual “3, 2, 1, JUMP!” by Kame, with fireworks explosions all around (we went all BIKKURI here too when we heard explosions behind us LOL).
Yuuki no Hana
They sang it on the transparent stage going back to the main stage. They surely put their heart in singing it.
FINAL MESSAGES
All of them said more or less that they’re happy of being there and do a tour after 2 years, they enjoyed a lot and hope we enjoyed too, and thanked us for coming in the middle of the snow. That the meaning of “chain” is creating a bond, and they hope we’ve created a bond w/ the people next to us, even if we don’t know them.
Ueda broke his earphone LOL xD So he said “I don’t want to be scolded, so if you find It please give it back” and koki commented “let’s apologize all together for this” xD
Koki was the last and ended his message with a “well… these are KAT-TUN” that made us bawl, lol XD
They wore again the long black coat and the screen closed in front of them, with the same image of them of top of a roof.
ENCORE: REAL FACE+GOING!
Maru had to run to take the Shinkansen around half Real face :/ (it also seems he went on the train still dressed with the con clothes LOL). So at the beginning Kame said “there are the last 3 mins of Maru, keep an eye on him and greet him properly!”. Koki also asked maru to do the first rap but Maru refused xD The last RF rap Koki said “I have no choice, right… JUNNO!” and junno sang it!
The end of going, since Maru wasn’t there anymore, Kame said “I’ve seen there are plenty of maru fans. Can someone lend an uchiwa?” and they used the uchiwa to make the final greeting, asking the fan to join hands with the people next to them.
Also, kame instead of saying “WE ARE….!” (for the fans to scream KAT-TUN) he said a simple “sei… ah no, it’s different!”, realizing the mistake he laughed too, and the fans screamed “WE ARE!!!!” XD Koki defended him saying it’s 2 years they don’t do it :P
They’ve also announced the Sendai dates were decided and just to wait for further infos (which were sent out the day after, btw xD). Going out, Junno said the same line he said at the end of NMP10 (“when you go home, do a massage”) and Ueda stopped on stage before going out like Maru did at the end of NMP10 imitating the staff voice!!! SO cute xD Koki came back to pick him up saying “no need to do Maru’s role!” XDDDDD
We didn’t have a second encore :(

Final comment: I am SO SO SO SO HAPPY to have been able to see them live, after so many years. Also, I am so happy for being able to see CHAIN concert, especially Niigata. They were SO HAPPY. It moves my heart remembering how Ueda was all jumping around asking to fans to make more noise, Maru and Junno waving all around, Kame and Koki staring in the eyes of the fans. I could feel how much they've missed last year's tour and contact with fans. It was also a nice experience go to a concert without knowing the songs LOL xD In the pamphlet it's also written that they've decided everything here, from the setlist to the directing to the goods to the effects, everything. It took time and efforts but they're satisfied. I am too :)
So yes... it's surely one of the best memories I have until now, together with DBS <3 Those 5 boys surely deserve all our love.
