War Prologue
~~This is the prologue to War~~~
The rain you can not feel it. Only coldness. No not even that. Abandoned that is what you are. She had told you, Korea would be the new beginning for us. That women you call mother but no. She had left you there. Going to be with that man.
*Flash back*
You remember being shaken in the middle of the night, by her soft hands and warm words, "Han Geng, wake up," she whispers to you, "come on, wake up sweety."
Slowly you left your head and mutter, " what's wrong mommy?" She seems different almost....scared. Which startled you quickly out of your sleep. You try to say something more when you feel her hand cover your mouth.
"Han Geng, don't talk, you need to be quiet." she whispered to you as she pulls you from your bed and starts to dress you. Even you a child of seven years you can feel something is not quite right. You try again to speak but hold your words for obedient child, and you wait to ask your questions. When she has finally put on your winter coat and secured your boats in place she lefts you up cradling like a baby carrying you out into the night. Even though you feel warm and safe in your mothers arms, know something is terribly wrong. Because were is Papa?
*Flash Back End*
The memory brings tears to your eyes. You try to move your arm to wipe them away but it is frozen in place. You know it is your time to be taken. You smile, finally you thought, I get to be with grandma again. She loves me. You slowly close your eyes and let the darkness take you.
